This past week, the Mattagami Youth Rocket Team came together for a hands-on workshop where they each built and launched their very own mini rockets.
With guidance and support, the youth learned the basics of rocket design, safety, and launch mechanics. Once the rockets were built, the group headed outside for an exciting launch day. Laughter, cheers, and amazement filled the air as the rockets shot upward, showing just how much creativity and teamwork our youth bring to every project.
This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to inspire youth through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), while also encouraging innovation and leadership right here in Mattagami First Nation.
